More About
Our
Events

*

At our events, you’ll meet primarily college-educated professionals (though these are not requirements — we don't judge you by your degrees or by your job — everyone is welcome), frequently divided by age into two groups: 30-45 and 45-55+. (There’s a two-year grace period for each age group, and not all activities are age-specific.) You’ll have the chance to connect with those you’d like to get to know better by sending them a blind e-mail through our free e-mail forwarding service, via your match report e-mailed to you after our speed dating events, or by exchanging phone numbers, as you might anywhere else.

We were the first company in the nation to offer speed dating events to single adults in the community at large, and have been doing so since 1999. We currently sponsor events every week in the San Francisco Bay Area, including events in San Francisco, Berkeley, Palo Alto, Mountain View, San Jose, and Marin, Contra Costa, and Sonoma Counties.

About the Host
Our events are produced and hosted by Joel Koosed, founder of The Meeting Game Salon, The San Francisco Roommate Referral Service, and the Avenue Ballroom — an expert in bringing people together since 1974. His events have been profiled in local and national media, including feature stories in the San Francisco Chronicle, on KGO-TV’s Front Row Video, KRON’s World of People, KTVU’s Segment 2, and Channel 5’s Evening Magazine.
